Robert grew up in a small town named Ponchatoula, world famous for Strawberries. He played football at Southern Miss and received a degree in History. While in both High School and college Robert, volunteered with CASA volunteering with children.
In 2000, Robert moved to Baton Rouge, he continued volunteering with CASA and became heavily involved in volunteering and charity work with the military when younger brother was sent overseas.
Although Robert’s previous career was in the mortgage and finance industry with work and ownership for 9 years, he is currently in the process of starting a non-profit named S.A.V.E.(Supporting American Veterans Everyday), that focuses on PTSD and suicide awareness through the use of therapy dogs. He also plans to have a sister branch to help veterans receive their benefits by helping them walk through the process of getting correct paper work, filling out forms and successfully applying for benefits.
Robert’s current occupation is Territory Manager for the South Central Louisiana area for Connector Specialists - the largest hydraulic hose and fittings distributor in the region.
